How do I transfer contacts?

Export CSV or VCF on one phone, send the file using your chosen method and import it in Kontio on your other phone.

Do I need Google?

No. Choose Use local files on onboarding. Google Drive is optional.

Are photos and addresses preserved?

Kontio exports accessible fields and record archives. Other apps may not support every field. Native iOS notes and automatic iOS merging are not enabled in the current candidate.

How does Android merging work?

Android links records into one contact while the source records remain in their accounts. Android selects the main name/photo. The last merge can be undone.

How do I report an issue?

Email mclaut@mclaut.com with the OS version, app build and reproduction steps. Use an anonymized example. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or a real address book.
